Bomb Creation (Alt: Create Bomb) is a 3rd class active skill available as Geneticist.
Effect
Creates explosives out of various kinds of fruit. Requires the user to have at least one volume from the How To Make Bombs series, depending on the fruit bomb the user wants to create. They can be purchased from the Alchemist Union Member alde_alche35186 on the first floor of the Alchemist job change building.
Notes
- Level 1 requires one set of ingredients, while Level 2 requires 10 sets of ingredients.
- Success Rate for created items are applied separately. For example: 10 sets for a Bomb would have created 4 Bombs and 6 Black Lumps, instead of 10 Black Lumps despite having failed in the process.
Success Rate
Success Rate compares two values: Creation and Difficulty. If Creation results higher than Difficulty, bombs are successfully created, otherwise the creation fails.
Creation = (Job_Lv ÷ 4) + (DEX ÷ 3) + (LUK ÷ 2)
Difficulty = Random(30, 150) + Item_Rate
For Level 2:
- If Creation > Difficulty by at least 30, 10~12 bombs are created.
- If Creation > Difficulty by at least 10, 10 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by exactly 10, 8 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by at least 30, 5 bombs are created.
- If Creation < Difficulty by at least 50, the creation fails.
Item Rates are unknown.
