Venom Knife (Alt: Throw Venom Knife) is a 2nd class offensive skill available as an Assassin. This skill can only be learned through a certain quest.
Effect
Throws a venom knife at a single target to inflict ranged physical damage. It has a chance of leaving the target poisoned.
Notes
- Venom Knifes are an ammunition type equipment and can be purchased from the Assassin Guild for 50z each.
- The damage of this skill is derived from base attack and is unaffected by benefits that increase physical damage percentage-wise, only benefits that increase attack additively will do.
- Enchant Deadly Poison does not work with this skill.
- The poison chance is based on the level learned of Envenom.
- The projectile takes on the property of the right hand.
- Ice Pick does work with this skill.
- This skill used to allow Assassins the ability to equip any type of arrow. But the skill has was changed to only allow usage of Venom Knifes. Before this change, status arrows could be used with Grimtooth (Level 3 or above) to inflict status effects.
