co-reqs

What is said on the "corequisites" isn't true. You need to do the Stop Metto's Research quest as part of part I of the God Items Quest. Also, while there isn't an actual page for it, Archers trying to job change to Bard must complete the Snowysnow Quest. Also, merchants job changing to alchemist must do the Alchemist Item Gathering quest. --Resplendent 14:32, 18 November 2007 (MST)

Stop Metto's Research is a prerequisite for the God Items Quest in the same sense that Piano Keys Quest is a prerequisite for the Sign Quest. While many people may not have done Metto's quest or the Keys Quest (the rewards aren't worth the effort) until they start the God Items or Sign quests, respectively, they must be completed prior to completing the the quest.
Rachel Sanctuary Quest and Lost Child Quest, however, have a different kind of relationship. You cannot complete one quest until you have done part of the other for both of them. You cannot complete the Rachel Sanctuary quest until you have done lost child quest, but you can't complete the lost child quest until you've finished part of the Rachel Sanctuary quest either. Thus, I termed them corequisites rather than prerequisites, in order to note that to complete either of them you have to do them at the same time.
I don't recall doing the Alchemist Item Gathering quest either (and I do have an alchemist), but it was quite some time ago that my merchant became an alchi, so I may just be forgetful.
I am not familiar with the Snowysnow Quest or the bard job change quest (they're among the few quests that I've never done), so I won't revert you, but I'm trying to explain why there is a difference between the relationship between Metto's quest and the god items quest and the relationship between the rachel sanctuary and lost child quests. The alchemist job change required me to do the counteragent/mixture quest to job change, characters who've already completed it, simply move to the next step. Whereas with the bard job change, characters who've already completed the snowysnow quest will still need to go and do it again (atleast last i checked). From what i've heard Metto's research is similar to the bard change, and must be redone even if its already been completed. (though for those quests, i wouldn't really consider "Quest A containing Quest B" to be a co-requisite relationship)
The Lost Child Quest can be completed independently of the Rachel Sanctuary Quest, provided you have a means of getting in to see Zhed, which is rather easy if the 500m donations have not been met.

alignment

i'm not sure what was trying to be aligned where... but anywhere inside {{# }} tags, you need to use {{!}} wherever you would have normally used a |. I've stuck the rewards parts on the right side to provide an example of how their alignment would be changed, feel free to revert if it looks funny. --Biochemistness-76 00:19, 20 November 2007 (MST)

Instance cooldown

Could we get an option added that specifies the cooldown time for a quest, if applicable? -Espeon 18:40, 25 April 2010 (MDT)

Previous/Next Quest

Can we modify the Quest Info template to have "Previous Quest" and "Next Quest" sections in the template, for quest chains? Under the "Rewards" section, maybe (or somewhere else, I'm flexible). --Penciltea (talk) 02:13, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

title background color for instances?

With the increasing size of instances, maybe a color could be added to the title background to indicate it's an instance, similar to how it turns yellow it's in the quest window?

For exmaple:

! colspan=2 style="background:#CCCCCC; font-size:130%;" | Quest Info (shows up correctly in editor)

Not sure if anything more needs to be added to it to make it work.

If I prioritize the instance value to go before window, I could make it work. It may end up like this:
! colspan=2 style="background:#{{#if: {{{instance|}}} | DA2020 | {{#if: {{{window|}}} | DAA520 | CCCCCC}} }}; font-size:130%;" | {{PAGENAME}}
Yep, Nested IF conditions. Honestly I don't know how to add more than 1 condition in an IF Parser Function. If that's enough, I can add this to the template. Also, I friendly recommend to add --~~~~ at the end to add your signature and timestamp.
