  1. Speak to the Scientist in the basement of the factory in Manuk
    (man_in01 372, 221)
    .
  2. He gives you a Portable Toolbox to assist you in finding ores somewhere in Midgard.
    • Note: You can avoid a particular location by letting the conversation time out after being told the area, and then talking to the scientist again. This is useful for skipping the time consuming Mt. Mjolnir ores.
  3. He will send you to one of three locations. When you arrive at the map, walk around near the entrance and your toolbox should activate and mark ore locations on the minimap. After mining a location it will re-appear in a couple minutes.
    • Mt. Mjolnir (01, 02, 04, 09, 10) - Collect 10 Rough Minerals from any of the following locations.

      • (mjolnir_01 217, 35)
      • (mjolnir_02 90, 195)
      • (mjolnir_02 206, 187)
      • (mjolnir_04 124, 380)
      • (mjolnir_04 220, 130)
      • (mjolnir_09 229, 218)
         Near the lower cliff
      • (mjolnir_10 188, 260)
    • Thor Volcano Entrance - Collect 5 Rough Minerals from any of the following locations.

      • (ve_fild03 256, 228)
      • (ve_fild03 85, 189)
      • (ve_fild03 282, 268)
    • Abyss Lake Entrance - Collect 5 Rough Minerals from any of the following locations.
      • (hu_fild05 134, 322)
      • (hu_fild05 72, 104)
      • (hu_fild05 65, 99)
      • (hu_fild05 323, 84)
      • (hu_fild05 251, 344)
  4. Return to the scientist in Manuk once you have the Minerals.
