Fever Fields are special maps that have stronger variations of certain monsters. These monsters drop Fever equipment, which have better equipment options. Also Mythril Ore drops on these maps, which is important for various equipment crafting.
A Fever Field map entrance has a red portal.

Payon Forest (pay_fild06)

This map is located one west and one south of Alberta. The monsters here are between levels 38 - 44.
Geffen Field (gef_fild02)

This map is located 1 South, 2 West of Prontera. The monsters here drop Orcish weapons (see list below). Also, two different MVPs can be summoned on this map by killing a certain number of a particular monster on the map. Anyone on the map can contribute to these kills.
To summon Dark Orc Lord, 10000 Dark Orc Archer must be killed.
To summon Dark Orc Hero, 10000 Dark High Orc must be killed.
