A Vanilmirth is one of the creatures available through the Homunculus System, summonable by Alchemists who have completed the Bioethics Quest.
About Vanilmirth
The Vanilmirth has the highest stat growth (and highest stat variation) compared to the other three Homunculi: Amistr, Filir, and Lif. It is capable of using magical attacks such as Caprice and healing skills such as Chaotic Benediction, although both skills have random effects. It has a passive skill, Change Instruction, which not just raises both STR and INT, but also raises the Potion Creation rates when it is not vaporized. Once Vanilmirth has evolved and become loyal, it shall be able to learn Self-Destruction, a suicide attack that deals massive splash damage, but at the cost of all of its Intimacy. Vanilmirth require the consumption of Scell for feeding.
Appearances
Like all Homunculi, Vanilmirth is obtainable in two styles, in this case visually resembling a gelatinous form: it either looks like a brownish/pinkish jelly with a ball with a face inside or a purplish slime with two eyes as antenna at the top. Outside an aesthetic sense, there is ultimately no difference between the "Jelly Vanilmirth" and the "Slime Vanilmirth", as they possess the same pool of skills and general stat growth.
Evolution
When the Homunculus' Intimacy is Loyal, use a Stone of Sage (simply double click it) to evolve it. There is no level condition in order to evolve it. With evolution, the Homunculus will obtain a random bonus for each of its stats, increased Max HP and Max SP and a new form.
After evolving, the Homunculus' Intimacy resets to 10 (Hate). Once its Intimacy reaches 910 again (1 point before Loyal), a fourth, new skill is unlocked.
Vanilmirth and Alchemist Builds
Vanilmirths tend to have high growth rates for almost all of its stats. Because of this, Vanilmirths are effectively the most well-rounded Homunculi for all aspects of the game, making it an extraordinary choice for Alchemists, regardless of build.
Pros
- The highest stat growth out of all Homunculi, making them suitable for survival in all situations.
- Caprice, their main offensive skill, has a range of 10 cells.
- Change Instruction increases the success rates for Potion Creation.
